Stage 1

The wastewater treatment plant consisted of an Activated Sludge Treatment Process with nitrogen and phosphorus removal capacity of 350,000 m3 per day.

Key Challenge

The Treatment Plant is consisted of a Cyclic Activated Sludge System (CASS) with a capacity of 150,000 m3 per day and a Sludge treatment plant (Anaerobic digestion system) with a capacity of 94 m3 per day at 20{33f923b8ff9540e4183861a30b21df320c98e68fc8adb15cd9f5134447039770} dry solid.

Scope of Work (Stage 1)

  • Construction of Collection System
  • Manhole construction using sinking caisson method
  • Micro-tunneling for 225 – 800 mm. dia pipe
  • Pipe jacking for 1,500 mm. dia pipe
  • Civil and architectural work for secondary treatment area, office building and outfall control building
  • Installation Mechanical work
  • Installation Electrical and Control System
  • Training, Pre-commissioning and startup of Wastewater Treatment Plant
  • One year operation, maintenance and management

Stage 4

  • Operation, Maintenance and Management of the Wastewater Treatment Plant for a period of 4.5 years
  • Operation and maintenance of Collection Pipes (Diameter: 0.14-2.50 m, Length: 37.5 km) with inlet from 13 Pumping Substations
  • Operation and maintenance of Sludge Treatment Unit (Anaerobic digestion system) with a capacity of 94 m3/day at 20{33f923b8ff9540e4183861a30b21df320c98e68fc8adb15cd9f5134447039770} dry solid
